Facts About Drinking Water.

How much water should I drink?

6-8glasses a day is recommended.

Why is Alkalized water so popular?

Alkalized water is the best tool for super hydration of the body. Unlike tap water, for example, this water is pH balanced. This means that it is not as acidic as what streams from your tap at home. There are key benefits to your health for consuming this type of water over traditional tap water or even bottled water. It is the cleanest and best solution available without common contaminants found in tap water.
What Is Alkalized water by definition, this type of water is neither neutral nor acidic on the pH scale. In other words, the water’s pH level is on the alkalized side of the scale, which gives it a pH level of about 8.5. The water that comes from most taps is acidic, which means that it has a pH level under 7. It is rare to find tap water that is neutral, though, some believe, because of the various contaminants and chemicals found in water or placed in water to cleanse it.

Why do we have to drink water?

The importance of drinking water is clear. We can survive several weeks without food, but only a few days without water. Our bodies are made up of about 78% water and our brains a massive 85%. The brain cannot store water and soon becomes dehydrated if the water lost during the day is not replaced. Your brain cells need twice as much energy as the other cells in your body and water is what supplies this energy. No wonder, then, that your brain functioning goes downhill so dramatically when you are dehydrated. When you are properly hydrated you have more energy, you think faster, and are more creative.
